What’s the difference between MedSup, MediGap and Medicare Supplement insurance?

Continuing on with my series of Frequently Asked Questions about MedSup (see previous posts); a common question we get is about Medicare Supplement plans dropping coverage.
One question we hear often is; what’s the difference between MedSup, MediGap and Medicare Supplement insurance?
Answer: Nothing. The products are officially called Medicare Supplement plans. But they’re also often referred to as MediGap plans or MedSup plans.
